This Privacy Policy explains what information ContractRisk.io collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We design for data minimization: we collect only what we need to provide the service.
We collect information you provide directly, including account details (name, work email, organization) and any documents you upload for analysis. We also collect limited technical data — IP address, browser type, and usage events — to operate and secure the service.
We use your information to deliver contract analysis, maintain and improve the service, provide support, send service and (with consent) product communications, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Documents you submit are processed solely to generate your analysis. Your contracts are never used to train shared or third-party AI models, and are isolated to your organization. You may delete uploaded documents at any time, subject to short-lived backups.
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Analysis artifacts are retained per your plan and organization settings. Anonymous, aggregated metrics may be kept for product analytics. You can request deletion as described below.
We offer EU, India, and UAE storage options and protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, and audit logging. See our Security page for details.
We share data with vetted subprocessors (e.g., cloud hosting, payment, and AI inference providers) only as needed to run the service, under contractual confidentiality and data-protection terms. A current list is available on request.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@contractrisk.io.
We use essential cookies for authentication and security, and limited analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notified to you directly.
